FAQs
What These Classes Are
1
Many of us spend much of our lives in our heads.
Thinking.
Analyzing.
Planning.
Managing.
These classes offer an opportunity to return to the body.
Through intentional movement, breath awareness, mindfulness, and nervous system-informed practices, participants are invited to slow down, notice what they are experiencing, and reconnect with themselves.
This is not performance-based yoga.
There is no expectation to achieve a particular pose, level of flexibility, or physical outcome.
The invitation is simply to practice being present.

This distinction is particularly important given your dual role as a psychotherapist and yoga instructor.
FAQs
-
The intention of my yoga classes is to offer space for you to be in svādhyāya (self-study, introspection) of your own mind and body. I guide classes based on each theme, offering you space to observe and be disciplined to your growth. Growth meaning, whatever edge you are feeling into. Maybe your growing edge right now is doing less with your body, maybe it is standing stronger in your power. Whatever the case, it is all an invitation to observe your present moment, and learn to listen and accept all parts of your current experience.
